Which one should I prefer for PGDM: Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad or Fortune Institute of International Business and why?

Hi there,do look once for IMS before applying to FIIB. because both colleges have nearly same ranking as per different websites.

Can think Fortune if it is impossible for you to go next MAT to get a healthy score for chasing top tier 1 colleges.But wait Ask just few question to yourself and then the college. You can easily find a coherent answer. Ask yourself Which profile is your cup of tea as a job (HR,Sales,Financial product sales,IT sales,IB sales,Core finance) Your graduation prcntg is matching the mnc(which provide the core job profile means a white collar stable profile) placement criteria or not ;directly from the placement officer. Check exactly what you want and which profile is provided or foisted upon you during placement. Remember 100 prcnt placement show off does not make any sense to you if you are in bulk hire & fire profile. Ask your college during admission What is the average in hand or take home salary of your favourite field job profile (Not ctc annual package is your in hand salary,be clever) Checj profile stability from linkedin alumni( not from current students,as they are also part of the system) Check job profile not get satisfied about brand name as you are not their welcomed customer but employee. You may enjoy the service of famous bank Axy but may not enjoy the unrealistic target based field sales job of financial products. So,make it clear from alumni or placement officer. Sometime you will find some silicon valley giant s name( amazon,apple,google,microsoft) in placement brochure . Maximum times it is seen that students are hired by their suppliers,3rd party sellers,franchisees and like microsoft 3rd parties many time hired students for corporate software sales,which is tough to sell softwares in various corporates as an unwelcomed guest. Naturally you either get frustrated or have to quit the job . If though you are unable to draw a clear picture just do not invest parents money with high risk and go for a healthy score to get tier I few MAT colleges only. Internship cost is included or excluded as it has become a practice to do at your own extra cost,though sometime corporate enjoy this as free sales man without paying anything though they assured it before,so check this.
