Which one should I prefer for pilot training: Chimes Aviation Academy - Sagar or Indian Institute of Aeronautical Science, Kolkata and why?

Chimes Aviation Academy (CAA) is one of the leading aviation training Academies in India, approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). Established in June 2008, CAA was launched in Dhana, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, to provide comprehensive and state-of-the-art flying training for aspiring students and flying enthusiasts. It offers training in CPL (IR/ME), PPL, Cruiser, Instructors Rating, License Renewal, License Conversion, Chimes Flying Programme and Multi-Engine (TR/IR). Indian Institute of Aeronautical Science is situated in Kolkata. Established in 2002, it is accredited from AICTE IIAS campus is spread over 1 Acres. Hostel facility is not available for its students. Additional campus facilities such as A/C, AV Lab and ATMs are also there. This college has good placement record, companies like Air India, Indian Airlines, Air France, Indigo, Airbus, Go Air and British Airways visit the campus.Indian Institute of Aeronautical Science, Kolkata is a better option among the two.

Hi, I would suggest going for Indian Institute of Aeronautics. Indian Institute of Aeronautical Science is situated in Kolkata (West Bengal). Established in 2002, it is accredited from AICTE IIAS campus and is spread over 1 acres. Hostel facility is not available for its students. The students of this college are placed in Air India, Indian Airlines, Air France, Indigo, Airbus, Go Air and British Airways. The campus is the result of a master plan for stimulating learning environment. Just as curriculum, is based on the blending of learning and doing, so are the institute facilities. In our workshops, you will find precisely the kind of technical equipment on which you will eventually work after becoming AME. These hands-on facilities are particularly appreciated by the students, who find them clean, easy to use, well organised and with the vast array of industry relevant equipment. The college has won loads of awards for its excellent performance and achievements. First, Institute in Eastern India to be approved for imparting ab-initio training in Jet Engines.

Becoming a commercial pilot is a very costly affair and one must be very careful in choosing a flying school that suits his needs both financially and in practicality. Chimes Aviation Academy is located in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. t is one of the finest pilot training institutes in India with a wide variety of aircrafts and a well maintained hangar and runway. They have some of the best instructors in the country and have been known to produce some of the best pilots. They have recently acquired a few new aircrafts with state of the art Theilert diesel engines and also a DA42 multi engine aircraft with full Garmin G1000 glass cockpit which would be beneficial for a student undergoing IFR training. Their fees is nominal as well and they have a good record of student performance. Delhi is not much far away from the location of Chimes and hence it would be helpful for the students who have to keep going to the DGCA HQ during the training for various purposes.

Dear, Indian Institute of Aeronautical Science, Kolkata is 100% the best option if you compare this with other institution like Chimes Aviation Academy-Sagar. The reason why I am preferring this institution is its popularity among aviation industry. IIAS, Kolkata is one among the old pilot training institute in Kolkata. All of its courses are approved from AICTE hence there is nothing to worry about its recognition. This institution is completely under the government of West Bengal AMD and is affiliated with UGC. When it comes to its faculties level then it has the best in the nation. The biggest reason for their success is that they are in collaboration with various airline industry for the quality placement of their students. Hence, choosing Indian Institute of Aeronautical Science, Kolkata is the best option to begin your aviation career in the pilot field. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Hello, It goes without saying that, one must join a school or training establishment that has a good faculty and facilities that will aid in learning. Any flying school worth its name should either own or have access to the runway, hangers and other related facilities. Chimes Aviation Academy scores very well on all these parameters. Based in Sagar in Madhya Pradesh, this flying school was established in 2008. This institution has obtained ISO certification as well. It, of course, has airplanes, maintenance hangers and well-trained staff. Unfortunately, on the other hand, no mention was found anywhere about the teaching of flying in IIAS, Kolkata. It's providing AME certification with DGCA approval. But that's all. In view of the foregoing, Chimes Aviation Academy comes out a winner on all counts to be the best flying school out of these two.
