Dear Himanshu, every university is doing good for his students for their best career. There are certain parameters such as placements, infrastructure, faculty level, environment, growth etc. To be considered while selection of institute for pursuing education. It a big question in the mind of a student as well as parents that what will the offers and placement scenario of educational institute when the student will be about to complete the course. CSE at LPU is an Engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place. Various specializations that LPU is offering in CSE are, Database Management Systems, Networks and Security, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing, etc. To enable the students to keep pace with changing technological advances, the university has industrial tie-ups with various industries. Studying these courses as a part of the curriculum would provide a WILD CARD entry to industry. You can definitely go for it.

Dear Himanshu, The question is bit tricky, because you are comparing two colleges in two different branches ! But I can give a right analysis as per my experience. NIT Srinagar is one of the premier engineering colleges in north India in government sector, while LPU is a prime example of how a University must be run in private sector. I think you must go in for LPU as it has over the years excelled in : # Curriculum development as per industry inputs. I # Teaching pedagogy: Uses experiential earning technique # Tech trainings like SAP, advance excel, github etc. # Entrepreneurship projects # Industry interface # Community projects # Internships # Industry certifications # Workshops # Extra curricular activities # Hackathons. Lastly the placements: IT attracts 30000 students, 600+ companies and 200 international universities which is phenomenal in itself. Hello! I have done my engineering from Lovely Professional University, I can not comment about others. I can just share my experience with you, I hope that will be help you in choosing a better option. Quality of education at LPU is always appreciated. LPU excel in both CSE and Mechanical fields. Proper quality study material is provided by the college which is available both online and offline. The faculty members are well renowned in the field and they keep you up to date in terms of syllabus and the latest industry trends too. Being a CSE student, I usually approach them after my classes to get my queries resolved or to discuss any projects or workshops I am a part of and they readily extend the courtesy. The biggest advantage is that we get projects on each and every topic which is industry-oriented and help us to learn about industry the latest trends. As LPU is one of the renowned name so many companies like HCL, Oracle, Adobe keeps on conducting there workshops. The workshops really help us to be industry ready. You can also apply for internships in these companies too. LPU makes sure that by the time placement season kicks in you have exposure in all the relevant section of CSE. Also, The placements in LPU is quite good as Microsoft, Google, Amazon etc. Big companies & other multinational & national companies come for the campus placements. The average package is 3.57 LPA, however few of our seniors have also landed a package of 20 Lacs from various IT giants companies. LPU has ties with more than 250 national and international corporations that frequently visit the campus for student placement. The LPU is a leading university with a world-class infrastructure and a faculty like the IITs. The LPU curriculum is focused on the latest developments and technical aspects that help students stay up to date. Live projects and internships in the companies add experience in mechanical engineering graduates. Annually, a number of championships and competitions, such as Go Kart, are organized at the university to provide students with a platform for innovation and development. One of my friend's brother took admission in LPU and appreciated the efforts of the staff of University. He told that LPU is best for B.Tech (Mechanical) as this university provides updated curriculum, exposure and good placements as this programme offers an advanced insight into engineering fields such as mechanical, electrical, electronics, computer Science, instrumentation, & control systems. The companies which have visited as of now are: Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Amdocs, Capgemini, Verizon, SAP Labs, Hitachi Power, Videocon, L&T Technology Services, Ericsson, HCL Technologies etc. He told that apart from this the student has the career in Defence Services, Indian Engineering services, PSUs like NTPC, NHPC, ONGC etc. , Higher Studies like M.Tech, MBA. , Core Industry (Manufacturing/Design Industry), Software Industry and Food processing Industry (Milk Plants) Rest not pretty sure about what others are offering.
