Which one to choose among NIT, Srinagar for mechanical engineering and LPU for CSE?

The question is bit tricky, because you are comparing two colleges in two different branches ! But I can give a right analysis as per my experience. NIT Srinagar is one of the premier engineering colleges in north India in government sector, while LPU is a prime example of how a University must be run in private sector. I think you must go in for LPU as it has over the years excelled in : # Curriculum development as per industry inputs. I # Teaching pedagogy: Uses experiential earning technique # Tech trainings like SAP, advance excel, github etc. # Entrepreneurship projects # Industry interface # Community projects # Internships # Industry certifications # Workshops # Extra curricular activities # Hackathons. Lastly the placements: IT attracts 30000 students, 600+ companies and 200 international universities which is phenomenal in itself. More than 60 companies offer more than 10LPA which is one big FEAT itself. Hope this helps DVD.
