    The question is bit tricky, because you are comparing two colleges in two different branches !
    But I can give a right analysis as per my experience. NIT Srinagar is one of the premier engineering colleges in north India in government sector, while LPU is a prime example of how a University must be run in private sector. I think you must go in for LPU as it has over the years excelled in :
