Eligibility Details :Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants). The fee structure is Rs 1,20,000 per semester. 1 Placements :Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft in 2020. I personally don't believe in comparisons as all institutes put their best. As per current trends in the recruitment of prestigious companies, candidates having good coding and reasoning skills with having a sound experience of live projects of Industries are selected. I am not pretty sure about DIT but can highlight some of the facts of LPU on the basis of feedback from the student of LPU. #Computer Science Engineering (CSE) is a major branch of engineering at LPU which has been designed primarily to suit the needs of the students who aspire to be the future engineers, managers or entrepreneurs with a strong grounding in accounting and finance. #Developing analytical, communication and decision making skills of students is an important focus area throughout the duration of the programme. The students are encouraged to undertake assignments/project work from the industry and work towards finding possible solutions to integrate their theoretical knowledge with industrial practices. Students are exposed too the fields like a. Cloud computing b. IoT c. Data Science e. Machine Learning f. Both the colleges are government recognized and hold a good reputation. But comparing both of them according to placement, infrastructure, faculty team, environment and other amenities, LPU is preferable choice. Good Luck!
