Which one to choose for B.Tech lateral entry in civil engineering Jain University or LPU? I am confused help me choose the right college.

My brother is pursuing B.Tech lateral entry in Civil Engineering from Lovely Professional University. He told me B.Tech in civil engineering course involves so much more than theoretical know-how. In addition to classroom lectures, students here learn via hands-on experiences which include site visits, lab sessions and so on. PPTs, animations and similar technological techniques are a regular part of classroom teaching too. The course material provided here enables to practice civil engineering using up-to-date techniques, skills, and tools as a result of life-long learning ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data. The course benefits the students by giving them an understanding of professional, ethical, legal, security and social issues and responsibilities. The Department aims to provide students with a technical foundation incorporated with the industrial need together with the breadth needed in the profession via advanced study or field training, or as a base for other pursuits. In order to get this develop we have timely workshops, and seminars. Coming to faculty, they are one of the best mentors to us & everything here is up to the mark. The faculty is supporting if one is willing to learn. They teach the subjects with their full effort. Writing board, screen-projector, labs are used to teach. Selecting one university from many options is really very difficult. There are few factors which play a major role in selecting the best out of available options. Financial assistance, job opportunity, learning atmosphere, mentors are few factors which can be considered. LPU is a place which helps you to bring best out of you and shapes you well for better future. Scholarships, placements, exposure to industry, efficient & knowledgeable faculty, flexible curriculum and teaching pedagogies, infrastructure, and diverse culture make it unmatchable. The School of Civil Engineering has placed many students in national and international organizations like Al-Rakha, Simplex, Cognizant Soma enterprises, L & T, Gammon, Zamil Infra, Unisys, Tech Mahindra, Xceedance Consulting India Pvt Ltd. etc to name a few. Many students have joined the government sector. A few have started their own construction companies. The average package offered to the students in corporate sector was Rs 4.5 LPA.

I have no idea about Jain university, but yes, I can say, LPU will be very good for you, for B.Tech Civil Eng. Lateral entry.

For civil engineering, you should go to Jain University as it is more established than LPU. Moreover, it is located in the peak region of India where the quality placements are more likely to be offered. But the answer may vary from branch to branch and for various selected courses. Thank you.

Hi, LPU is the best. Since the beginning of the creation, when someone placed a roof over his head or laid a tree trunk across a river to cross it, Civil Engineering existed. With the advancement of technology in leaps and bounds, the future of civil engineering in the years to come will be crucial, especially with the establishment of smart cities. LPU is nurturing the students to adapt and be equipped with this ever-changing scenario. The school, in coordination with the Division of Career Services, has moved from strength to strength. It has placed many students in national and international organizations like Al-Rakha, Simplex, Cognizant, etc. Students have been completed Industry delivered Certificates like Soma enterprises, L & T, Gammon, etc. Experiential Learning is offered. Innovative Pedagogy and Co-Curricular & Extra Curricular Activities add to its excellence. The faculty members and students published more than 100 research papers under the supervision of faculty members in various national / International Journals or conferences. These and many more such reasons would entice me to select LPU.
