I have no idea about Jain university, but yes, I can say, LPU will be very good for you, for B.Tech Civil Eng. Lateral entry.

For civil engineering, you should go to Jain University as it is more established than LPU. Moreover, it is located in the peak region of India where the quality placements are more likely to be offered. But the answer may vary from branch to branch and for various selected courses. Thank you.
