Open distance B.Com in Mumbai University: You have to study the whole syllabus, there are higher chances of getting failed. Exam centers are located in any direction (you might or might be not aware of it). Many of my friends failed and then later they joined the college. St Joseph's College of Commerce (SJCC) is an Autonomous College in Bangalore. It is 130+ years old Institute. It has very big name in the city. It ranks top 8th commerce college in India and top 2nd in Bangalore. It provides very good education with decent placements, nice location in city center Brigade Road, Independence to students, pride of being a Josephite, Rock...more

SJCC and University Of Mumbai are very famous in South India for their B.Com program. I would suggest SJCC. SJCC is one of the campuses which is affordable, in terms of fee structure, for all students. Having 400+ recruiters in software, non-software and technical verticals. The average salary is Rs.6 LPA
The campus has a lot of international and national faculty members, who guide the students for better career development.
This campus holds direct tie-up for placement with some well-known and famous multinational companies. This helps a student to get placed in an international and national firm. A large alumni network of over 4000+ h...more -
Hi,
Mumbai University (MU) has no standard anymore. It has lost it. It's minting money and it's getting greedier than ever now. MU gets the money you pay for the examination fees. If you fair, you pay for the revaluation and if you fail that too, you apply for a re-examination. Their standard of checking papers have also gone low.
If you wish to pursue B.Com, SJCC is the place to be. You will have a college life along with your focus on your professional course as well. There is a morning batch which you can enroll yourself into. College is from 7:00 to 11:00, after which you are free to attend IPCC classes. There is an attendance requir...more -
In my opinion, you should prefer going to St. Joseph's College of Commerce (SJCC), Brigade Road, Bangalore instead of doing Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from Institute of Distance & Open Learning-University of Mumbai. SJCC was established in the year 1972 and is affiliated to Bangalore University which is one of the top universities in Southern Region of India. SJCC has very good faculty bases who have been teaching for last 8-10 years and more than that as well. The Experienced faculties not only help in studies but also in other life-related problems such as career advice, event management, placements etc. The facility at SJCC provid...more
