I am not quite aware of B.Com Loyola College (LC, Chennai) or Institute of Distance and Open Learning - University of Mumbai but I have come to know from one of my very close relatives that Mittal School of Business, LPU provides both B.Com and B.Com (Hons) along with various specializations which itself ranges from traditional specializations courses to the courses of the newly streamlined specialisation as per the current requirements of the job demand in the market. Mittal School of Business is Among the First 10 Institutions in India to Get ACBSP (USA) Accreditation. Lovely Professional University has shown its commitment to teachi

Government Jobs - After completing B.Com one can apply for government jobs/ banking jobs by qualifying exams such as UPSC, IBPS, etc. B.Com is the good choice of subject if you are having strong control over subjects of commerce like Accounting, Banking And Financial Services, Economics, Finance, Financial Markets. But on the basis of the feedback of my commerce graduate batchmates of Lovely Professional University I must say that, one should pursue most advanced B.Com (Hons. ) programme from LPU

According to my opinion, Loyola College is good for pursuing B.Com as Loyola College provides you with the full time degree course in comparison of institute of distance and open learning. UGC has elevated Loyola College to the status of College of Excellence for the innovative teaching and quality research activities and for holistic development. The courses are of international standards and the facilities are world-class. Loyola is amongst top five colleges in India. Mandatory internships and training programmes and good record of placement, sharpening the mind of students through employability skills and innovative courses, financi

    Hi,
I would prefer Loyola College anyway. Let me tell you, why!
Loyola College is one of the best colleges in the country and has been consistently ranked in the top 3 across different disciplines. Like any other college, it has its fair share of good, not-so-good and great professors. It is co-ed at the Masters level and only course, Visual communication is Co-ed at the Bachelors level.
Not only for B.Com, it is one of the first few colleges to be granted autonomy, you have 40% of your marks from 3 internals (best 2 out of 3), 15% for any project work, 5% for attendance and the rest from your finals. This is a good system and rewards any

According to me, Loyola College, Chennai is much better than the Institute of Distance and Open Learning, University of Mumbai because of the most important reason which is while sitting in the class of college we get first-hand knowledge from the faculty members and we tend to improve while socializing and gaining experience in college while we cannot do these things while sitting at home and learning through the distance learning courses.
Placement provided by the Loyola College, Chennai:
The placements were good as many MNCs came to our campus for recruitment like Google, Facebook, World Bank, Goldman Sachs, etc. The highest package f
