Which one will be better, a data scientist or an HR executive? I did an MBA in HR and a data Science course.

Both the job profiles are good! You have to check which is suitable for you, according to your interest and expertise in both. Since youve graduated with both, it may happen that you can be recruited for any of these. If you are more of a people management person, service oriented and well versed with legalities of labor laws, go for HR. If you are more of tech oriented, number crunching, data driven person well versed with data techniques, go for Data scientist positions. This is just an outline that I can give without going into your academic and personality traits. For an advise like this, the mentors need a lot of time spent with students. Had you been my student at LPU, I would have been able to give a more detailed analysis and advice. Give it deep thought. Keep your interest level and aptitude above remuneration in priorities before deciding. Hope this helps. DVD.

Both have ample of opportunities in market, however, your package will depend upon the university or college. The placements are tremendous and you'll get plenty of opportunities to choose from but it is your duty to maintain a capable academic record, so that you can fetch a job in the best company that visits the university for recruitment. The placement in MBA at LPU is about 95% and above. Almost all batches were placed in well-known companies. Average package offered for MBA students is 5.5 LPA. Some of the leading companies (like Practo, Think and Learn, Colgate, ICICI Prudential, Tech Mahindra, Axis bank, WNS, CISCO etc. ). recruited a good number of students from our department with the maximum package of 17 Lacs. Every year, around 550+ companies visit for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU and this year for batch graduating in 2019, already more than 650 placement/internship drives have been conducted till February 2019 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs). .
