Candidates can develop competence in Signal Processing, Communication Systems, VLSI Design, Embedded systems, and Robotics. Modern labs and high-tech infrastructure encourage innovative thinking and produce scholars and researchers who develop game-changing technology. Owing to all this, LPU has been granted several rankings. There is more than twelve Center of Excellence established by reputable companies like Automation Anyware, Texas Instruments, CISCO, SAP, Cadence, etc. There is an innovation studio in LPU where students can work on their ideas. Moreover, in 2019, when the Indian Science Congress was held in LPU, LPU Students also design Solar-powered Driverless Bus to ferry PM Modi to Indian Science Congress 2019 in this studio. Prabin Kumar Das, a B.Tech student (Electronics Communication and Engineering) at Lovely Professional University, Punjab, and his professors, has developed a KAWACH to promote safe social distancing. Coming to the placements, the students have been placed in companies like LG Electronics, Amazon, Synopsys, L&T Infotech, PEGA, hp, LG Soft India, Capgemini, Hind Rectifiers, Sasken Communication Technologies, Panasonic Energy India, Effectual Services, Infineon technologies, Bobble AI, Frugal Testing, Coriolis Technologies, L&T Services, DXC Technology, Cypress Semiconductors, Federal Bank, Mercer Mettle, Nylocore Transmissions, Sagacious Research, Bristlecone, Medtrail, Jakson Engineering, Akzo Nobel, High Radius, Mygate, GE Power, Spectraforce Technologies, Aegis, Goldman Sachs India, etc. The highest package offered for the academic year 20202021 was 31LPA by Code Nation. Shubham, LPU is a name to reckon with. It has made a mark for itself in the field of education. It has world class infrastructure with high tech lab.s. The faculty recruited is highly qualified and experienced.
The university is favourite hub of many reputed companies like Adobe, Barclays, Hitachi, Amazon, etc who come to the campus regularly to recruit students.
The university emphasizes on both theoretical and practical knowledge for this reason teaching is not just confined to classrooms but students are also involved with many workshops and live projects.
