It depends upon your interest if you want to go for MBA or Civil Services. Both ways you can serve the society. Cracking Civil services exam requires a lot of hard work and efforts. MBA is gaining business insights and doing it in a better way can offer you with good earning and yes, after completing MBA you can also think of civil services.

You have to look for your interest. If you look yourself in corporate, business management then go for MBA but if you look yourself as a diplomat, you want to serve the country, then you may opt for civil services.

It's like you are comparing apples to oranges. Sit for some time, take a deep breath and then decide whether you want to go into the corporate world or serve the nation.

After 12th the allowed and possible option for anyone is graduation. If you have any plans and determination to join civil services, start graduation and your preparation for civils. After your graduation, you can appear in the IAS exams. MBA can be done later. A Bachelor degree is must for both your choices.

It depends upon your interest towards government or private sector.
If you feel government designations, gazetted posts as remarkable one, then please go for civil services.
If you wish to have change and move on for desired salary packages as well as to work in good reputed companies then you must opt for MBA.
If you wish to pursue MBA then try to go for good colleges with nice placement records.
All the best for your career.

Most probably, an MBA works in private sector and civil services is a government job. It depends totally on your interest. Both are different. Choose your graduation carefully.

Try for civil services first, then go for an MBA.
