    Hi,
Both NIT Agartala and NIT Rourkela are good. In case of CSE in NIT Agartala, Placements: Placement is not very much impressive. Because of its remote location few companies are willing to visit for campus placements. Placement for CSE branch is comparatively good. 90% of the job offers come from IT sector. Placement for non CSE branches are not good. Generally 2u20133 IT service based companies (like Infosys, IBM, Wipro, Tech Mahindra etc. ). Visit for mass campus drives. They hire like 70u2013150 people in a slot. Then some product based IT companies (like Samsung, Oracle, information edge etc. ). Also come. They hire like 2u20137

Both are different branches with different scopes. If you are interested for higher studies, then go for CHE as NIT Rourkela is one of the top most, so you might consider that factor as well. As far as, NIT Agartala is concerned, CSE placement is decent.

It is fully depend on the basis of your interest. If you are interested in CSE, then you should choose NIT Agartala. If not, then you should choose NIT-Rourkela. But, if interest doesn't matter to you, then you should choose CSE NIT-Agartala, because CSE has good Placement record among all other branches. Average placement in NIT-Agartala for CSE is INR 6 lacs per annum.

Don't go for NIT Agartala, because location is not at all good, even companies have problems traveling to Agartala for placement. It shares border with Bangladesh and has many Bangladeshi militants creating problems, also the region faces presence of terrorist group ATTF. So, you can take chemical engineering in Rourkela. Good luck.
