    Both the courses are equally good and are intended for jobs in different areas, you may choose according to the field in which you want to pursue your further studies or in which sector precisely you want to work after studies.
    Eco hons. - A Economics course deals with all the theories of economics and deals with the core subjects in statistics, microeconomics, macroeconomics, Indian economic history, policy etc. It does deal only a little with how these are applied to today's economic conditions.
    BBE (Bachelors in Business Economics) is not so theoretical and uses the theories to explain different business situations. While

    A lot depends on your interest also. I would opt for eco hons and then go for a phd for a successful academic career. Log in to some more good sites like LPU, SRM, GALGOTIA etc
