Which option is better in terms of job prospects: finance or marketing?

Both are good for placements. The placement also depends on brand/ ranking of the college and the company visiting the college for recruitment. The companies do offer average packages around Rs.10 LPA to Rs.12 LPA in finance and marketing in premiere B-schools.
