From a job and future studies perspective, B.Tech is a better option. Most of the software company prefer, B.Tech background students compared to a diploma holder.
Also if you have plans for higher studies then with diploma course the option might be limited, as many foreign and Indian universities admit B.Tech graduates.

in any field like job opportunities ,eligibility ,etc b.tech is far better then diploma.and if u doing ur btch then it is good fr u.
let's talk about the deploma after class 10-.after class 10 u doesn't have the besic idea of engineering .for idea u have to complete 10+2.and in job opportunities approx every companies want the eligibility of 10+2.so b tech is more preferable

Even if you do diploma after 10th, you will be needing B.Tech after it to be a software engineer. If you do diploma, you can get admission in 2nd year directly, else 4 years of engg.
