Which PG course is better for me? I have done B.Tech in food technology.

Your PG option would depend on the what would you like to do with your qualification. You could be: Food Technologist: Food technologists make sure that the food products available in the market are produced legally, safely and are up to the quality claimed. They work to develop and perfect the manufacturing processes involved in producing food and drink products. Product Development Scientist: They are employed by companies which manufacture products as diverse as medicines, cosmetics paints and food. They work to control and optimise the processes, to ensure the quality of the final product. Process Development Scientist: The aim of their work is to optimise the performance of manufacturing systems. They are in charge of the identification and development of new processes for food products manufacturing. Toxicologist: Toxicologists focus on the impact that radiation and toxic materials have on the environment, as well as human and animal health. They carry out field and laboratory studies that help to classify, monitor and assess this impact. Nutritional Therapist: They work with individuals to reduce and prevent ailments by making recommendations to their diet. They provide guidance on avoiding certain allergens and toxins, detoxification and the use of supplementary nutrients such as high-dose vitamins. Animal Nutritionist: They work understand the effect of diet on the health, well-being and productivity of animals. Once you choose what would you like to do then the options for you are: 1. M.Tech in Food and Nutrition 2. M.Tech in Food Technology 3. M.Tech in Food Biotechnology 4. M.Tech in Processing and Food Engineering 5. M.Tech in Food safety and Standards 6. Either do M.Tech or MBA in food technology and after that you can pursue Ph.D.
