PGDM is autonomous and approved by AICTE. Institutes have flexibility of revising their curriculum and introduce new subjects as per industry demands. Corporate prefer PGDM as it grooms overall personality of students and make them industry worthy.

Major differences between MBA and PGDM are as follows :
MBA/MMS is offered by 'Universities' or 'Colleges that are affiliated to Universities' or Central Body directly under the Indian Govt while PGDM/PGP is offered by individual colleges and IIM's.
Fees is high in case of PGDM/PGP as compared to

Both are same. PGDM which is a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a diploma course offered by the institutes that are recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and which are autonomous and not affiliated with any university. I hope this would suffice.
