    Hi Varsha,
    Programming languages act as a link between man and a machine. New programming languages are created as technology advances.
    To build a career in programming, I may suggest you:-
    *You must first decide on which sector of the computer programming business you want to specialize in, whether on gaming, database, website development, etc.
    *Train yourself in either JAVA or OOPS or C+ language as per your choice. Review your programming books or do a number of projects on your own.
    *Join a computer programming community forum on the Internet as that could be quite handy with getting your mastery on the computer language of your choice.
