Which rank will be used in CAP counselling - State Merit Rank or Female Merit Rank?

I want Direct Second Year Engineering Admission in B.Tech/B.E. My State Merit Rank is 2596 and Female Merit Rank is 1093.

Well your female rank comes under the subcategory, so, first, your state rank will be taken into consideration. If you stand in the merit list, you will be alotted the seat. In other cases, your subcategory rank will be considered and if you stand for a better rank then you will be alotted seat unde
