Hi,
Finance is a better option if you belong to commerce background and/or have a keen interest in making a career in the finance/banking sector. Else marketing would be ideal. Finance requires one to be well-versed with the accounting, banking related concepts as well as having great mathematical skills. Marketing needs one to be creative and practical, having a sound understanding of what's trending in the market/industry.

7 years agoIf you have studied commerce or accounts earlier or have any prior working experience in the field of financial services/operations than finance is a good option. Engineers also find it easy to tackle finance as it does have mathematics part. Marketing on the other hand needs your analytical and reasoning more as compared to theoretical know-how. If you are having interest in digital marketing, brand management, market research (includes knowledge of Stats and Probability), sales management than marketing is option for you.
