8 years agoIf you are interested to pursue MBA in software field, than you can go for MBA in IT and operations. It will open opportunities in the field of project management. Software engineers also look for sales offering in s/w companies which deals with project sales. Another option, you can look for is HR. There are many good b-schools which you can look for based on your scores in entrance exams. -
Depending upon your interest, you can go for either HR, IB or business analytics. All of these go with your graduation degree and are interesting specialisations to go for. To pursue these specialisations, you can go for:
- IIM's
- Xavier Institute of Mangement, Bhubaneswar
- S.P Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai
- UPES, Dehradun - It has lot of further specialised courses which you pursue.
- ICFAI University, Mumbai -
Software engineers do find IT and operations easy, but other courses like marketing and finance are also easy to get through and get into a good position to start your career. MBA in finance do need some background of commerce subjects, but it is not very tough to learn the concepts and terminologies.
Below mentioned are the well know colleges for finance:
1. IIMs.
2. IFMR.
3. SP Jain.
4. NMIMS – Mumbai.
