Claremont Graduate University is a private, not-for-profit institution located in Claremont, California. The university is an independent institution devoted entirely to graduate study. Also, note that California is an international hub and the world’s the largest economy. CGU is a member of the consortium of seven independent institutions. It is classified by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education as R2: Doctoral Research University, Higher Research Activity.
