Dear Shaik, As for the EEE branch, you can get a job in the core company through GATE or a job in any IT MNC. The thing while opting for the CSE branch is that CSE graduates don't have as many job vacancies in the public sector as compared to the other two branches ECE and EEE but it has a very high scope in the lucrative private sector. I have many friends who have completed the EEE and CSE programme from LPU. Both have good placements at LPU. LPU has a good placement record for EEE/ECE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are BOSCH, Microsoft, Code Nation, Adobe, etc. In which students of EEE/ECE are placed. The highest package offered for the ECE programme at LPU is 31 LPA and the average package is 5.1 LPA. LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. The best thing I like about LPU about placement is, they provide placement classes to all the students from the very first year who opt for the placement. With the help of this, they can prepare themselves for placements till the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for the recruitment of students from a pre-final year. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year. First, let's talk about these field EEE and CSE B.Tech in Electronics and communication engineering, ECE focuses on the design of underlying hardware systems. Many believe that numerous creative opportunities exist at the boundaries of traditional CSE and ECE. The curriculum for ECE, therefore, has many courses in common with the CSE programme initially I am an alumnus of LPU and did B.Tech CSE, I find CSE very interesting and pursuing my career as a software engineer currently in Noida, some colleagues of mine had done EEE but were appointed as software engineers. Both CSE and EEE are considered the best branches of engineering 1. SIMILARLARITIES - Programming common between these two branches. EEE student mainly focuses on C, C+ while the CSE is totally related to Programming only. 2. Job Profile: It can also be the same but not certain. If an ECE graduate works in the IT industry then he might have the same job profile which the CSE students may have. 3. Academics: Academics wise ECE students have to study some of the subjects of CSE students. 4. PLACEMENTS - Talking from my personal experience, CSE student has more chances of placements with higher packages than EEE students initially. LPU guarantees maximum placement of CSE and EEE students, recently one of their CSE students had received a package of 42 Lacs per annum in Microsoft. The placement of ECE students is 100% in LPU. Both the stream has their individual demands and hiring process. I don't SEE a point in making a comparative between them. If you observe the current trend of the market there are more IT & software companies. So it is an obvious thing that there will be more influx of job there but if you observe the hiring model very closely every company has core jobs co related very closely. Dear Shaik, both are the good streams, You can choose any branch according to your interest. If we compare both the branches then CSE has more scope than other streams. CSE: Job openings for Software professionals is much higher in the corporate sector than in public sector. There is a huge scope of placements in CSE. In fact, it has taken the top position in placements as compared to the other fields. Programming involves a lot of innovations and students who love programming and designing or have a creative mind with a good understanding of coding can get into CSE and fit in very easily. Being an alumnus of LPU and currently working with a good company. Electrical Engineering Electrical engineering is a professional engineering discipline that generally deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. It will be advisable if you do your degree from a well known university in case not able to get into IITs/NITs then go for the one that provides prime placement opportunity, outstanding exposure and professional enhancement training. I can enlist some university for your help - Delhi Technological University, Delhi Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar SASTRA University, Thanjavur Andhra University College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam etc. These are the prime names offering all these assets to their students. These universities provides extensive learning programs and exposure to the students. Hi, How are you? Well, each and every branch in engineering is good, we can't compare them. Just there are a few differences like mechanical, electrical and civil are evergreen branches but CS, IT and EC have high placement records. Other than this, you may also take chemical, metallurgy, mechatronics, etc. So, choose a suitable branch. Go for it. Thank you and keep asking!
