Firstly, your interest depends. Then if you talk about today's world, then electrical is far better branch in terms of requirement for company but in future nothing can be said according to me you should go for electrical because it has more scope than mechanical now.

Listen both are good branch but if you have an option to choose among both of them you should choose mechanical engineering which is evergreen branch and has more scope in future so ME is best. All The Best.
