    Well that totally depends on your interest. As your interest leads to success and growth in future.     There is scope for every branch, Both are highly in demand programs, its you who has to SEE and decide his/her ambition. And this depends on your own introspection. Ask these questions to yourself and answer honestly. You will get your answer automatically:
    What am I passionate about? What do I like to do? What subjects do I enjoy most at school? Which subjects am I good at? Are they also the subjects I enjoy? What are my marks in these subjects?     Mechanical has good scope compared to electrical. First of all, both are core engineering groups Mechanical is highly preferred than electrical. Instead of this, electronics and electrical engineering (few universities) and electronics and telecommunications are also good options. And they are evergreen branches also.

    Well, people say mechanical engineering is better but to me electrical engineering would be better because of less jobs for mechanical engineering students but it more depends on ones skill and expertise. Thank you.

    Mechanical engineering and electrical engineering are both good programs and professions.     Electrical engineering is better than mechanical engineering because it has high scope now when compared to mechanical engineering and also has good job placement opportunities.

    Firstly, your interest depends. Then if you talk about today's world, then electrical is far better branch in terms of requirement for company but in future nothing can be said according to me you should go for electrical because it has more scope than mechanical now.

    Listen both are good branch but if you have an option to choose among both of them you should choose mechanical engineering which is evergreen branch and has more scope in future so ME is best.
