see MECHANICAL is referred to as the evergreen branch.It has maximum scope.Others are electrical,instrumentation etc.It is important from where you pursue your B-TECH/BE.If you can get into a good college,no matter what specialisation you choose,you will get a job and if you choose a bad college,no
