Dear Roushan, it totally depends on your interest as to what you want to pursue. Both ae good fields and I can give you a brief overview of both courses offered at LPU. After doing a course in civil engineering you can become:

Civil engineering primarily targets a field whereas Mechanical engineering can be further divided into a variety of fields. This makes it a better choice for the students who are looking for higher studies in the desired direction. I would recommend B.Tech Mechanical from LPU, I am sharing my friend review regarding this course, His experience at LPU was amazing, Currently he is working with XL Dynamics with decent package.
