Marketing is better.The demand for marketing professionals are increasing day by day. New trends in marketing are also a major reason for this boom. Finance salary packages are less when compared to marketing. -
Both of them has good opportunities. Cannot say which is best. That totally depends on your interest. Marketing has more opportunities these days but finance is also good. Best thing is to do dual specialisation in both. In finance, you need to do very well and update your knowledge regarding accounts and taxation as you need to be in par with CAs in terms of knowledge and to compete with them.
