As you have asked the question about best of streams. I think you can go with core streams like electrical, mechanical, computer Science, civil. And no matter which field you pursue you can get placed in any company if you can manage to learn the skills required like c language and other coding languages (which is not difficult to learn) along with a good pointer in your department. At present the world market is showing an incline towards the arena of IT & ITES companies.

I am an Alumni of LPU and completed my MBA programme there. One of my friends has done his M.Tech from LPU in 2019. B.Tech is a prestigious course, compare to any other Bachelor degree course as after doing this students get good career opportunities and industry exposure. According to me all the branches in engineering have equal importance. Only students can differentiate on the basis of their interest as they want to do Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronic, Computer, IT or any other. As per the current digital scenario, computer and IT has a good job opportunity so these two may be on the top priority. Other than these two Mechanical, Civil, Electrical are the core branch and evergreen in the nature. In these core branches have more job opportunities in the gov. And PSU sectors.
