Civil Engineering and mechanical engineering yields some similarities, the biggest difference between the two careers is what professionals in the field engineer. A civil engineer helps design and create buildings, infrastructure, and other large-scale structural projects. Mechanical and civil engineering are very popular yet unique engineering fields. Both are very wide in scope and also share some common grounds. In the area of fluid mechanics and hydraulics, both overlap a great deal.
