There is no such thing as 'better' in this case. It depends on your career plans and whether you enjoy working more with hardware or software. They both lead to lucrative and secure jobs, so which one is better will always depend on your plans.

If you have option to choose either of them and you are confused, go for CSE.
As far as topics covered are concerned, CSE guys will get to study tad bit more about hardware whereas IT is more focused on software.
So, CSE guys can fancy a career in hardware company but not IT guys.

Now a days, IT is the best but choose what you want to do. there is no much more difference between IT and computers. Don't go with the flow. Get some knowledge about these fields and then select.

There is not much difference between CS and IT. The only difference is that you will study some of the hardware part in CS.

In computer engineering, you're taught about the computer hardware as well as software fundamentals.
Whereas in information technology, the focus is more on software development. and less on hardware.
In IT, there are subjects which teach you practical software development. Whereas in
