To be eligible for admission to the B.Tech. in Biotechnology at HBTU Kanpur, a candidate should pursue the Science stream with subjects such as Physics, Mathematics or Biology, and one of the subjects from Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Technical Vocational subject in their Intermediate (10+2) qualifying examination. The candidate must also qualify in any one of the following subject papers in CUET (UG)-2025: Biology/Biological Studies/Biotechnology/Biochemistry, Chemistry, Mathematics / Applied mathematics, or Physics.
