To be eligible for admission to the B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at SRM IST, a candidate should pursue the Science stream with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies as major subjects. The candidate should have a minimum of 60% aggregate in PCM and should have passed or appeared in the Higher Secondary examination (10+2 pattern) from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS.
