To be eligible for admission to the BE in CSE at BMS College of Engineering, a candidate should pursue a stream with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Biology, Computer Science, or Electronics as optional subjects. The candidate should have passed the 2nd PUC / 12 Std / Equivalent Examination with English as one of the languages and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics, along with one of the optional subjects, for general merit candidates. For SC/ST and OBC category candidates, the minimum aggregate marks required are 40%.
