1. Interested in real sciences, learning, think maths is fun, want a future in research, engineering or medical- go for science.
2. Want to learn about business, accounts, management and you are sure you won't get bored- go for commerce.
3. Interested in social sciences, literature, law, etc. - go for arts.
Seriously, this is not a complete list, there are many more options. Please find what you are passionate about rather than following what others say.
