Which stream should I opt for pursuing textile designing: Science or Commerce?

Tina, it should be arts. This question seems that you are in 10+1. Take any creative subjects or arts or languages. I would recommend that as you study for your 10+2, you start practicing sketching to begin with. Try to observe things closely and sketch them. You can also buy good sketch books from the market for sketching including shading, shadows, and human figures. However, soon you may have to upgrade to more serious books like "The Animator's Survival Kit" by Richards William. Psychology and Literature are two useful subjects. If you are talking about prints and whatever on fabrics, then Neha's answer is OK and you can go with that.

Hi Tina,
To join the textile designing course, one needs to pass 12th in any stream with 50%. You may study Science or Commerce or Humanities. Opt for the stream which interests you the most.
