Which stream should I opt in class 11th for pursuing animation after class 12th?

Hi Pawanpreet, Take any creative subjects or arts or languages. I would recommend that as you study for your 10+2, you start practicing sketching to begin with. Try to observe things closely and sketch them. You can also buy good sketch books from the market for sketching including: 1. Shading 2. Shadows and 3. Human Figures. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in: 1. UI Design 2. Graphic Design 3. Storyboarding 4. Animation Design 5. Game Design 6. 3D Modelling 7. Texturing and Lighting 8. Dynamics and VFX and 9. Of course Animation (2D and 3D). However, choosing between these must be done after seeing your performance in each of these. So going for a generic course covering all or most of these would be the best way to get started in these careers. Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to make a sound career in this. Go speak to people over there and see if you like their philosophy and they change your perspective.
