    Dear Varun,
    UPSC has syllabus from all stream so it really does not matter which stream you chose at HSC or higher level. The subject which you need to prepare for CSP (Civil Services Prelims) are : General Mental Ability and Reasoning, History, Political Science, Indian Freedom Struggle, Economics, General Science (Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Current Affairs etc.) once you clear CSP, you need to prepare for main and interview. This includes two optional subject (from your graduation level), English, any one Indian Language and General Studies etc.
