Which stream should I opt to become a computer engineer: Commerce or Science?

If you want to be a Computer Engineer ( Whether Hardware or Software Engineer ) you are advised to take PCM at +2 stage. If you take Commerce stream then you can become Software developer by taking BCA MCA route of education only.

if u want to become a computer engineer then choose Science stream with PCM ,somehow if u are not interested in physics and chemistry u can go through commerce line with maths .
pursuing u r higher senior secondary in commerce with maths u can also apply for BCA ,in BCA only maths is required stream

U should be better go for Science. And if you want to be a engineer from good institute should better start preparing for IIT JEE.

I am a class12 commerce student. in future I have to do software engineering. I can easily get this degree if I can do bca and mca

Yup, u can but you have two choices either opt for BCA from good institute or you may go for B.Sc (It)
