Which stream to take in 10 1 ?

I am in 10th in a CBSE school, i am confused between non-med & commerce to opt in 1 i have interest in both streams but i have a bit more interest in commerce. My parents say me to take non-med because they say after doing non-med one can go to any field which has more scope ? Please help.
