Dear Akhil ! since choosing an stream is totally depends on your interest but since you are from mechaical branch i should suggest you to go for subjects like operational research, optimization as it will help you a lot and even you can get good salary in your core company but choose the institute cautiously.here are some of the colleges where you can get admission:
    1.IIM
    2.BITS
    3.Lovely Professional University
I have heard that Lovely Professional University i having good placement. my friend who was from this university got placed in good company with good package.i suggest you go fot it.
    hope it helps!
