Dear Sachin, Animation is an unique course where we really don't look in to your skills on regular subjects , where we see if you have artistic skills , if you have good idea on color concepts , if you have acting skills or if you have interest in photography , if you have good understanding of proportion , yes if you are good in physics and maths , than surely it will help you to build a career as a 3D Vfx/cfx artist .A student from any domain can join animation , it has around 11 different domain and each of them has some interesting criteria , what it looks for in a candidate . Dear Sachin You can take arts subject in your 12th which can lay the foundation for your animation future or if you are not concerned with a degree you can start off with diploma in animation after 10th itself. This animation industry is more concerned with real knowledge and talent to perform rather than degree. However if you want a degree it is better you start honing up your sketching and drawing.

    Hello Sachin,
Animation calls for a wide bouquet of skills from traditional art skills to articulation skills, storytelling to aesthetic appreciation, and creativity to technical prowess.
It uses Art as well as Technology. However you may choose any stream in XII to become animator. However focus on learning creative art by joining Sketching, Fine Art, Performing Art, Acting courses, so that you do well while getting into the Animation Career

Sachin, Take Any creative subjects or arts or languages. I would recommend that as you study for your 10+2, you start practicing sketching to begin with. Try to observe things closely and sketch them. You can also buy good sketch books from the market for sketching including shading, shadows, and human figures. However, soon you may have to upgrade to more serious books like "The Animator's Survival Kit" by Richards William. Later on you may take up a course in Multimedia and animation or in design and graphics. Arena also offers such a Program Just for your knowledge Animation draws the best out of a Creative Person.
