Which subject is good in 11th (commerce) to pursue MBA in future?

CBSE has made it compulsory for every student to have 5 subjects. The subjects offered are- Accountancy (Compulsory) Business studies (Compulsory) Economics (Compulsory) Economics for class 11 is divided into two parts - Statistics Indian Economic Development 4. English (Compulsory) 5. Mathematics (Optional) 6. Entrepreneurship (Optional) 7. Informatics Practices (Optional) Students are offered a choice between Mathematics, Entrepreneurship and IP. Depending on what you choose is that your 5 main subjects are decided. CBSE also offers a sixth subject which is not compulsory but if you have a sixth subject, your board results will be decided on the basis of best of 5 that is, the five subjects you score the highest in, out of the six subjects will be considered and the subject with the lowest marks will be neglected. 1. Physical education (Optional - 6th Subject) 2. Fine Arts ( Optional - 6th Subject) State board offers - Book keeping and accountancy Organisation of commerce (Same as Business Studies) English Mathematics / Secretarial Practices Economics Physical education Information Technology (Optional, with a second language) Hope this helps.

For MBA, better you take economics or information practices if you are planning for MBA in the future. These subjects will help you to understand fundamentals of MBA more efficiently.
