Which subject needs to be prepared for WBJEE JECA?

Jadavpur University WBJEE JECA cutoff 2023 was released for all categories and rounds for the students belonging to the All India quota. The university accepts the WBJEE JECA cutoff ranks for admission to the MCA course. 

In 2023, for the General category candidates under the All India quota, the cutoff was 31 in the last round. Among the OBC AI candidates, the cutoff was also the same in the last round as the General AI category. The same cutoff was also observed for the SC AI and ST AI quota students. While preparing the WBJEE JECA cutoff, the authorities will consider various factors related to the entrance examination and admission process. Some of the important factors that are considered to prepare the cutoff are the difficulty level of the exam, the total number of candidates, previous year cutoff trends, the total number of seats, etc. The authorities will release separate WBJEE JECA cutoffs online for the two rounds of counselling.

Throughout the counselling process of WBJEE JECA, the candidates will be required to select their college choice. The candidates must choose their colleges in order of preference. All the options must be chosen and locked before the deadline, which will be notified soon. Once submitted, the authorities won't be able to alter the preference order of their choices.

According to the official information brochure, the counselling fee for WBJEE JECA is as follows: 

• General Category students: INR 500. 

• Third Gender/SC/ST/OBCCategory-A/OBC-Category-B/EWS candidates: INR 400

The fee must be paid online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. Payment through any other means will not be accepted. If the candidates fail to pay the counselling fee, then their registration will not be considered.
