For civil engineering, you must have a good knowledge of mechanics. So, you must opt for physics and mathematics. In addition, for concrete technology, you need some knowledge of chemistry. Actually if you are willing to apply for civil engineering, go for B.Tech or BE, where you can get full knowledge of civil engineering.

Maths, physics and drawing. If you want to give IIT, you should have chemistry as it is easier than physics and maths.
