Which subject should I opt in PhD if I have completed my MBA in HR and Marketing? What is the procedure to take admission?

    After completing your Masters with minimum 55% marks, you need to qualify a test such as GATE/CSIR-NET/ JEST and TIFR /NEST /SLET etc. If you qualify written, then you'll be called for interview. In some university, you'll be required to undergo their separate written test and interview. Ph.D. is offered in two modes: Part Time and Full Time
    Part Time: A candidate has to attend classes on weekends. Full Time: A candidate has to attend regular classes (56 days a week).     Dear Applicant. PhD doesnot have subjects, It have research area that you can decide as per your interest in the required filed of management in consultancy with your guide once allotted to you. If you want to go for admission in PhD in management as you have done MBA in master. LPU could be a good option as it offers PhD in management in both Part time and Full time. The eligibility criteria for the same is "Pass with 55% agrregate marks in MBA/ M.Sc. (Management)/M.Com/ MIB/ MFC or equivalent + LPUNEST +Interview
    Note:- 5% relaxation in eligibility percentage to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Able. "

    Hi Sonam, you must go for Ph.D. in Management program.
    And for pursuing Ph.D you always do possess research oriented approach. In doctoral level study, you need to be highly focused & methodical to your domain of study so that you could be able to complete your Ph.D. in minimum time frame with Good Research Publication.
    I had pursued my B.Tech. MBA from one of the renowned & globally esteemed University of India i.e Lovely Professional University. I had been placed well in corporate Industry but at the same time I do prefer to pursue my Ph.D from here itself in Part time mode.

    You need to appear for special examination at the college you have been applying to. Marketing has much better job opportunities than HR and is paying more average national salary than HR field.
