After completing your Masters with minimum 55% marks, you need to qualify a test such as GATE/CSIR-NET/ JEST and TIFR /NEST /SLET etc. If you qualify written, then you'll be called for interview. In some university, you'll be required to undergo their separate written test and interview. Ph.D. is offered in two modes: Part Time and Full Time
Part Time: A candidate has to attend classes on weekends. Full Time: A candidate has to attend regular classes (56 days a week). If you want to go for admission in PhD in management as you have done MBA in master. LPU could be a good option as it offers PhD in management in both Part time and Full time. And for pursuing Ph.D you always do possess research oriented approach. In doctoral level study, you need to be highly focused & methodical to your domain of study so that you could be able to complete your Ph.D. in minimum time frame with Good Research Publication.
