    Any subject of your choice. Basically subject of graduation will matter the most. And also UPSC has set criteria of graduation, not specified from which subject or field. You can complete graduation in one stream of your choice and give UPSC examination in other subject. There is no problem in that. So for class 12th you can take any subject.
