Which subjects are less chosen and which subjects are mostly chosen in civil preparation?

I have heard that we can have less amount of competition if we choose the subject which a less number of people prefer in civil preparation.

No, it's not like what you have heard. Those who have done graduation in particular subjects have chosen other subjects in UPSC and have succeeded. The general subjects include anthropology, sociology, public administration. If you are interested in biology you can choose anthropology as it is one h
