You have to take medical stream in class 11th and 12th, to get admission in undergraduate biotechnology program.

To pursue biotechnology undergraduate programmes you need to qualify physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology.
To take admission in a 4-year B.Tech biotechnology programme at Thapar University, the eligibility criteria includes having physics, chemistry and biology i.e. PCB at 10+2 level and admission to this programme is exclusively on the basis of your All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) score.
