Which subjects should I choose after 10th for a career in animation and gaming?

Harmeet, Take any creative subjects or arts or languages. I would recommend that as you study for your 10+2, you start practicing sketching to begin with. Try to observe things closely and sketch them. You can also buy good sketch books from the market for sketching including shading, shadows, and human figures. However, soon you may have to upgrade to more serious books like &quot;The Animator's Survival Kit&quot; by Richards William. Psychology and Literature are two useful subjects. Try to participate in Writing, Drawing/ Painting, Sports, Dramatics, Music, Singing etc. whatever is possible for you. Hello Harmeet,subjects after 10th doesn't matter much if you have enter in the field of animation.But you can preferably opt for either Commerce or Arts as in these field there will be limited stress of studies and you will be able to spare good time for animation.Animation is a very creative and amazing field in which you will always enjoy working.According to my reference some of the best institutes that i can refer you are:-

You can choose any stream after 10th and there are many classes available for animation and gaming .You can join one of the classes and you can do well ALL THE BEST

Prefer to take any fine art related subject. If not, do choose from available options. Animation is art as well as technology, so it includes science as well as arts.
